Go Back to Where it all Started

Sometimes you have to go back to where all started to get a clear picture of where you are exactly destined for. So the other day while running around town I decided to go back to the first place we met. I pulled in thinking that after all this time, 14 years, there would be no trace of you. To my surprise, you were there, frozen in time, almost the same way I left you. A few upgrades here and there, but you were just as I remembered. The warmth in your greeting made me feel right at home and I hurried to my favorite spot, it took some time to re-familiarize myself with how you changed. I grabbed an old trusty companion (Roma Craft Neanderthal) and nestle up in a comfortable seat with the new regulars and we got reacquainted.

What do you look for when searching for the perfect place to smoke? Is it always the popular spots? Or do you like finding those little gems that give you a more traditional feel? With the changing culture how are you adapting to the new comers? Above was my thoughts as I visited the first place I ever smoked, purchased a cigar, Tobacco Havana #2, located at 6513 Westhiemer Houston Texas 77057, was where I was introduced to the beauty of the cigar culture in 2004.

A friend of mine thought it would be cool for me to accompany him to the cigar shop, where he said he goes to clear his head. It was small with a few chairs in the front, where the regulars drank coffee and told old war stories. The humidor was quaint full of classic gems to satisfy the refined smoker along with newly released boutique brands to captivate the aficionado with a wide palette range. Today the humidor is still well stocked and the regulars will welcome you with great conversations.\
